Discover some of our Project Change and OYW 2024 participants and projects:
Project Change is a program that allows our game-changers to incubate an environmental or social project to help drive change and positive impact in the communities we operate in. The program is made possible through the support of a mentor and workshop series that helps participants bring their vision to life and accelerate impact across our global footprint. Nominated candidates for the program were also taken to the One Young World Summit in Northern Ireland October 2023 and Montréal Canada in September 2024.
Xolotl – transforming waste into sustainable energy
To establish a circular economy in the waste collection of coconut shells and biomass from beaches, where it can cause environmental pollution and health risks. Xolotl will create game-changer beach cleanups programs and develop a way to recycle and repurpose the waste into useful products such as charcoal briquettes (from coconut salles) for cleaner cooking energy.

Plastic Futureniture – transforming plastic waste into stylish furniture
Indonesia is one of the world’s largest plastic dumping grounds. Through the collection of plastic by our own game-changers and surrounding communities Plastic Futureniture is on mission to create sustainable, cost-efficient and unique interior pieces for our Concentrix offices. The project also aims to increase awareness on the plastic crisis for the next generation and help generate income for people in the local community.

Green Steps – innovative pathways to promote sustainability and enhance wellbeing
Establish green pathways in and near to our sites to absorb pollutants and generate clean energy, including the use of kinetic tiles. The pathways will also promote community engagement and sustainability education, as well as encouraging physical activity and providing a place for relaxation and mindfulness to help reduce stress.
“Based on my One Young World learnings, I plan to introduce more community engagement activities and incorporate diverse cultural perspectives into my project. I also aim to implement some of the innovative solutions discussed during the sessions to enhance the impact of my project.”

Generation AI – AI education for disadvantaged children
In their vision, Concentrix brings together its finest minds to spearhead a transformative initiative and, ‘spill the good will’ by igniting curiosity and equipping disadvantaged children in the next generation with essential knowledge about Artificial Intelligence (AI) through engaging, hands-on experiences via an educational program.
“An idea (and one of many!) sparked from One Young World was to include mental health modules in “soft skills for AI” into our curriculum, plus, a user-friendly interface to help students identify their interests and match with their own skillsets and university applications. This was an insight gained from the “AI for Social Good” One Young World workshop.“

English for all – English speaking classes
To establish an English-speaking training program to game-changers who do not have the opportunity or can’t afford to take English classes. The English for all program aims to help achieve equal and higher pay, professional development, and strengthen essential cognitive skills.
“During the One Young World Summit I connected with people who provided ideas and inspiration for me to grow my project. I intend to increase the scope of the project with different languages and start the project online, to reduce costs.”

Concentrix C.A.R.E (Circle of Abundant Resource Exchange)
By embracing the principle of One Man’s Trash is Another’s Treasure project C.A.R.E. will divert landfill waste by increasing access to unwanted but usable game-changer items via an online community platform. By establishing a centralized repository for collecting and distributing unused items, the project aims to promote a culture of resourcefulness, reduce waste, and strengthen interdepartmental connections.

Deaf Culture & Sign Language training
A Concentrix University training course to provide Deaf culture and sign language professional development to game-changers through an online, interactive training program helping to foster a more inclusive workplace and community.
“I am proud to say I am a returning One Young World Ambassador and since 2023 have set up my own charity in NZ “Deaf Way” with the support of the Think Human Fund, to champion and expand my training material outside of the Concentrix business.
Networking at the Summit is incredibly valuable and listening to the disability related content was so insightful. I appreciate all the amazing opportunities and support from One Young World and feel really proud to work for Concentrix.“

Member Care Network (Coop)
Adam’s aim is to establish a new legal entity to create a cooperative benefiting our North American game changers and their families. The aim of the cooperative is to fight the impacts of the cost of living through an innovative approach to cost savings – for example, assisting our game-changers in acquiring many daily items at a much lower price point.
