Concentrix environmental awareness and education platform wins SEAL Environmental Initiative Award

Concentrix is proud to be recognized by the 2023 SEAL Business Sustainability Awards for its environmental awareness and education platform, the Concentrix Carbon Challenge Portal. The portal was awarded with the SEAL Environmental Initiative Award, an achievement that honors specific environmental and sustainability initiatives that address our current ongoing climate crisis. Every year, SEAL Awards recognizes brands who help make our planet a better place through Sustainability, Environmental Achievement, and Leadership.
The Concentrix Carbon Challenge portal is an in-house carbon calculator created to educate staff on the everyday actions that can make a “sustainable” difference, and to let staff record and understand their carbon emissions from a single green action. Since the launch of the program on March 23, in time for Earth Hour 2023, 23k+ staff have participated and made significant sustainable changes:
- Nearly 76k+ pounds of recorded waste recycled.
- 8k+ trees planted.
- 162k+ kg of carbon emissions avoided/reduced from sustainable transport.
- 1260 light bulbs switched to LED.
The SEAL Environmental Initiative Award recognizes Concentrix’s outstanding dedication to upholding vital ESG initiatives and encouraging environmental stewardship among its staff. This effort goes beyond our Concentrix Carbon Challenge portal and can be seen in other recent Concentrix environmental programs, such as April 2023’s Project Change and One Young World program, where staff were encouraged to submit new and innovative ESG ideas to help Concentrix make the world a better place. Concentrix continues to remain committed to its priority of caring for the environment to leave it better than we found it.
