New Delhi, INDIA – June 14, 2016 Concentrix Corporation is the first company in India – and the first business process management (BPM) company globally – to earn International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001 certification for environmental stewardship.

The Concentrix environmental management system across India focuses on creating environmental awareness among the company’s staff. Some of the activities under the environmental management system included a beach cleanup following Ganesh Chaturthi, free vehicle emissions testing at several delivery centers, installing LED lighting, installing a sewage treatment plant and replacing chillers with new energy-efficient systems.

New environmental management system standards – known as ISO 14001 – were released in September 2015. Eight auditors from the British Standards Institute visited 11 of the 14 Concentrix delivery sites in India from Oct. 15-30.
The ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. The ISO facilitates international trade by establishing world-class specifications for products, services and systems. The global standards ensure quality, safety and efficiency.
