Innovation Interviews: When will Google’s work actually be complete?

My colleague Marko Muellner, Head of CX Acceleration at Concentrix Catalyst, and I recently had the opportunity to chat with Jeff Gothelf, author of Lean UX, Sense & Respond, and most recently, Forever Employable. Last week, we discussed how to build a culture of humility at enterprise organizations, in addition to how people can build a reputation and audience to generate career opportunities for themselves.

In this second episode with Jeff, we reflected on why leaders shouldn’t think about their businesses as having segregated purposes. This is because that philosophy leads to the compartmentalization of processes, which, in turn, can slow down the productization of ideas, increasing the likelihood that those ideas won’t survive. Our goal as innovators is to create a path of least resistance for ideas to get to production.
