The Sr. Director of Human Resources serves as a strategic business partner, working hands-on in every aspect of HR. The role provides coaching to the executive leadership team and day-to-day direction and leadership of the human resources function of a global operation. This role is tasked to develop programs to drive corporate performance including strategic planning, succession planning, leadership and management development and talent acquisition processes.
Responsibilities:
- Directs the planning, development and operation of talent acquisition, staffing and resource planning
- Directs and has oversight of compensation and benefit programs
- Advises the company and develops programs for positive employee relations
- Develops and coordinates performance management and employee development programs
- Directs efforts for the company Affirmative Action Program
- Direct responsibility for HRIS system and its security
- Responsible for the payroll and payroll management to include compliance
- Advises company management in human resources policy development and programs, recommending or taking appropriate actions as consistent with company culture and strategic direction
Preferred Credentials:
- A graduate degree in business administration, humanities, or equivalent
- 7-10 years of human resources management experience at a Sr. Director level
- Previous experience in managing a global HR function
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects / multi-task
- Extreme flexibility and ability to work with limited oversight
- Excellent analytical and financial management skills
- The successful candidate should demonstrate a high sense of urgency, confident assertive style, and customer service orientation.
- Executive level business savvy, high energy
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of strategic HR, succession planning and leadership development
- Demonstrated business communication skills, including negotiation and presentations
- Demonstrated collaborative relationship building skills
- Leadership, vision and personal integrity
- Ability to work in an intense, highly dynamic work environment
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends (if needed)
- Travel will be about 30%
