Job Summary

As a business development representative, you will focus on maintaining customer relationships and identifying business opportunities in the peripheral market.

• Coordinates account management
• Learns how to apply detailed product and sales intelligence to a business plan
• Provide support to the entire sales organization
• Participate in marketing and sales efforts of assigned vendors to reseller customers
• Identifies prospects for potential accounts
• Maintains quotas based on assigned goals
• Lead development of new reseller recruitment initiatives
• Evangelize key vendor and SYNNEX programs and products
• Maintain assigned accounts, monitor credit issues and manage customer relationships

Minimum Job Requirements

• College degree (BA or BS) in Business Administration from an accredited college preferred
• Two years related industry/business development experience or an equivalent combination of skills, education and sales experience
• Ability to develop a highly proficient level of knowledge and understanding associated with sales principles, concepts and practices
• Ability to access and absorb a large amount of information
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Ability to develop a solid familiarity and understanding of vendor programs
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
• Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
• The ability to work in a diverse, dynamic work environment
• The ability to work a flexible work schedule
• Strong business ethics orientation
